Work out for Charity this National Fitness Day with hero Training Clubs

To celebrate National Fitness Day on Wednesday 23 September, hero Training Clubs in Angel Gardens, Manchester will be hosting a day of charity fundraising for hero’s chosen charity We Love Manchester.

There’s plenty going on throughout the day at Manchester’s exclusive Training Club in the Noma neighbourhood, and the team wants to welcome people who live and work in the area to come along and support this worthwhile initiative.  The hero Training Clubs team will be hosting a range of activities including a Workout Of the Day, which is perfect for both corporate teams and individual members of the public to come along and try.  The teams will be in groups of five and will be invited to take part in a six minute challenge (30 minute total workout for a team of five).  There are lots of prizes up for grabs so this is an activity where it’s all to play or train for.  A fee of £20 per team will go directly to the We Love Manchester charity.

The team has a great prize pool for all those who take part, including dinner for two at The Ivy, a bottomless brunch for 4 at the alchemist, an overnight stay at Moda plus much more!

At the end of the day at 6pm the hero Training Clubs coaching team will be hosting an outdoor HIIT class (for a donation) in the Angel Gardens Courtyard.  Food from Pho and drinks from the Alchemist will be hosted after this session.

There will be awesome goody bags available to anyone who comes down to partake in any of these activities and will feature some awesome products from hero Training Club’s signature partners such as Balance Meals, Neom and Supernova.

Jon Farrell, Community Manager at hero Training Clubs said: “The We Love Manchester charity is a charity close to the hearts of the team that work here at hero Training Clubs.  We wanted to do something that would raise money for this much loved charity and what better way and indeed the day to do it, than National Fitness Day; Wednesday 23 September.  This year’s National Fitness Day focuses on the FUN of fitness and physical activity, which is why we’re running a range of activities you associate with fun such as the traditional sports day, team challenges and a group work out.  You don’t need to be a member or super fit to support this initiative. All that’s required is a willing mentality and we will ensure you have fun whilst raising money for We Love Manchester.”

All monies raised on the day will go directly to the We Love Manchester charity.
