Residence Inn by Marriott Manchester Piccadilly officially opens it's doors, as the first aparthotel of it's kind in Northern England

Manchester, UK – May, 2023: Residence Inn by Marriott, part of Marriott Bonvoy®’s extraordinary portfolio of 30 brands has opened its latest UK aparthotel in the heart of Manchester City Centre, making it the first in Northern England. Marking the brand’s fifth Residence Inn property in the UK, with the other four located in London and Scotland. 

Residence Inn by Marriott Manchester Piccadilly offers a prime central location for those travelling into the city for work or play, or residents of Manchester looking for escapism to the city. Situated on Laystall Street, less than ten minutes’ walk from the city’s main transport hub, Manchester Piccadilly, but also ideally located next door to the bustling areas that are Ancoats and Northern Quarter; regularly named within the best places in the UK to visit.  

The 155-guestroom hotel consists of sleek and spacious studios and 1-bedroom suites to suit solo visitors, corporates, couples, families or friends staying for business or leisure. The hotel is also pet friendly, meaning that your furry family members can come along to. Modern design sweeps through both the individual apartments and communal areas, with the use of warm, neutral tones, that strike the perfect balance between being at home and away from home.  

25 of the studios and suites offer baths and over half offer sofa beds in the living space, designed for little travellers, or groups enjoying time away together.  

Every room comes with a fully functional kitchen, featuring microwaves, single ovens, two-ring hobs, refrigerators and dishwashers, with all the cookware you could possibly need to create a home cooked meal. All rooms come with Smart-TVs so you don’t miss your favourite shows. Self-service communal laundry facilities are available on site and open at all times. Those staying on the higher floors can also expect stunning skyline views across central Manchester. 

The longer-stay hotel offers enticing lounge areas and a coffee shop with a grab and go counter for those whose visits match the fast-paced energy of the city. Start your day with a delicious complimentary breakfast, or use the hotel’s bespoke grocery delivery service, keeping your room fully stocked with fresh goods to prepare your own favourite dishes. 

Meeting spaces can be transformed to suit diverse needs, as well as an outdoor seating area for those that like to dine, drink, or work al fresco.
