The Sculpts

Manchester airport welcomes new shops and first Italian breakfast restaurant

Manchester Airport has welcomed The Sculpts, a local design shop that opened in Terminal 1 on August 19.

Founded by a Mancunian couple during the pandemic, The Sculpts offers handmade homeware and souvenirs inspired by Manchester’s cultural heritage, from greeting cards to their popular ‘alphabet tiles’ featuring iconic city symbols.

Originally an online retailer, the business has grown to physical locations and is now available to the airport’s global travelers.

In Terminal 2, Pasta Evangelists will be opening a new restaurant in late September. This will be the brand’s third location and the first to feature its new Italian breakfast menu, which includes dishes like the Italian breakfast bowl with grilled pancetta, Sicilian sausages, frittata, beans, and mushrooms, as well as a vegetarian option. The breakfast offering is expected to roll out to other branches in the future.
