THE BLUES KITCHEN MANCHESTER ANNOUNCES OPENING LINE UP FOR ITS CONCERT HALL

The Blues Kitchen Manchester reveals summer line-up for its stunning Concert Hall – from transatlantic legends to homegrown talent the live music programme promises to enrich Manchester’s music scene.

The expert team behind popular London venues XOYO and Jazz Café will launch the music venue, club, bar and restaurant on 20th May 2021, bringing a flavour of the Deep South to the city. The two-storey venue comprises of a restaurant and bar on the ground floor where the country’s finest blues and soul musicians will take to the stage seven nights a week. While the 500-capacity Concert Hall situated on the first floor will play host to a diverse line-up of touring artists from all over the world.

From internationally acclaimed artists such as Roy Ayers and Slum Village to new wave artists from Manchester’s scene including KinKai and Secret Night Gang, the line-up is representative of the diverse range of music that the venue’s Concert Hall will host in the long-term. Showcasing jazz, hip hop, blues, disco, house, folk, RnB and more.

The Concert Hall will be open from the 20th May for seated entertainment experiences, until the 21st June (subject to further guidelines) when live shows are programmed Sunday through to Thursday and DJ led club nights until late every Friday & Saturday.

The Blues Kitchen will have a bespoke Danley Sound Labs sound installation throughout to deliver superb audio quality for their events programme. Lead designer Tom Danley has a long history of innovating in sound, with invaluable knowledge from his time working for NASA. The specialist equipment is currently a rarity in the UK, but so far has been deployed to great success at globally renowned festivals including Glastonbury’s temple stage, We Out Here and Outlook & Dimensions Festivals.
