The US pop star will now take the stage at the Co-op Live arena on June 30 and July 1, 2025. This change opens up the exciting possibility of a Glastonbury appearance that same weekend, as the festival runs from June 27-29.
Fans holding onto their original tickets can breathe a sigh of relief as they will be valid for the new dates. However, some are frustrated after losing hundreds of pounds on travel and accommodation for the original shows.
The concerts were supposed to kick off Rodrigo’s UK tour at the brand-new £365m Co-op Live arena. But disaster struck when a heating pipe fell from the ceiling, forcing the postponement and marking one of several high-profile issues for the 23,500-capacity venue, the largest indoor arena in the UK.
Meanwhile, Rodrigo’s tour is still rolling. She recently rocked the world’s biggest arena, the 55,000-capacity Philippine Arena, a special moment for the singer whose family has roots in the Philippines.
She’s now in Australia for the final leg of her Guts tour, with South American shows lined up for March 2025. Fans in Manchester are counting down the days until her long-awaited return.
